practises private and regulatory banking and financial law. He also advises clients on commercial law matters and assists them before courts.
More specifically, he developed an in-depth knowledge of regulated credits, payment and investment services, AML and Data Protection.
As a member of the Digital Finance Team, he regularly works with actors active in new finance activities such as e-invoicing, crowdfunding/crowdlending, automated investment services (robo-advisers), new mobile payment schemes, online brokerage, etc.
He also published several articles on the impact of new technologies (A.I., blockchain…) on banking and financial law and regularly speaks on these topics.
Lucien is an assistant lecturer at the ULB in Civil law and Founding principles of Roman law.
