Associate (0-2 years of experience) Intellectual Property

Are you a junior associate (0-2 years of experience), passionate about intellectual property and eager to contribute to high profile cases for international and Belgian clients? Then you might be the perfect fit for our Intellectual Property team!

About the role

As part of our Intellectual Property team, you will

  • assist clients in all areas of intellectual property (trademarks, patents, copyrigths, etc.) and related matters like distribution, market practices, consumer protection or data protection in various business sectors, including ICT and life sciences;
  • participate in large-scale projects for high-level private and public clients;
  • collaborate in a diverse and pleasant environment striving for exceptional client outcomes.

Your profile

  • Belgian law degree with solid results. A post-Master degree in intellectual property (or similar) is a plus;
  • 0-2 years of experience in intellectual property within a leading Belgian or international law firm;
  • Trilingual French, Dutch and English, both oral and written, with excellent drafting skills;
  • Real team player aiming for excellence, quick thinker looking for creative solutions aligned with the clients needs;
  • Keen to work on Belgian and international landmark cases;
  • Able to understand the client’s sector, challenges and strategy to offer adequate solutions.
