Benoît Thomas

Benoît Thomas specialises in business law and white-collar criminal law. He holds the title of solicitor trained in collaborative law. He regularly assists his clients in both advisory (mergers and acquisitions, governance issues) and litigation (disputes between shareholders). Occasionally, he also supports his clients in criminal proceedings.

Graduating with great distinction with a master’s degree in law in 2019, he continued his education with a University Certificate in white-collar criminal law in 2021. Since 2019, he has been a teaching assistant in legal methodology, introduction to civil law, and introduction to law at the Université libre de Bruxelles. Furthermore, he joined the Centre for Research in Criminal Law at the same university in March 2022.

Benoît serves as the editorial secretary for the corporate criminal law journal (Larcier).

A recipient of the award from the past presidents of the Young Bar Association of Brabant Wallon, Benoît practised there for four years after working for another major Brussels law firm during his first year at the bar.
