Junior Associate (0-2 yrs) in Corporate M&A

Simont Braun is looking for a Corporate M&A lawyer (0-2 years of experience) to join our team as an associate.

Develop your skills

You will join a highly regarded Corporate M&A team advising Belgian and international clients on strategic transactions and complex corporate matters. From day one, you will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on high-impact transactions and complex corporate matters while progressively taking greater ownership of your work.

Your work will cover a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including:

Mergers & acquisitions
Corporate reorgansations
Corporate governance
Company law advice
Capital market transactions

You will advise entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, private equity investors and international groups across a wide variety of industries.

Because Simont Braun works as an integrated firm, you will regularly collaborate with colleagues from our Tax, Dispute Resolution, Real Estate, Employment, IP and Banking, Finance & Insurance teams on multidisciplinary projects requiring both excellence and commercial insight.

Your profile

You hold a Belgian degree with excellent academic results. An LL.M. or international academic experience is considered an asset.
You have recently graduated or have up to two year of experience in corporate law.
You are a genuine team player who combines intellectual curiosity with rigour and a pragmatic mindset.
You enjoy analysing complex legal issues and translating them into practical solutions for clients.
You are eager to understand our client’s businesses, industries and strategic objectives.
Dutch is your native language or equivalent. You have an excellent command of English and a good working knowledge of French. Outstanding drafting skills are essential.
