On 22 March, Joan Carette and Axel Maeterlinck were appointed as new managing partners of Simont Braun. In this capacity, they will be responsible for the firm’s day-to-day management.
They succeed Béatrice Thiefffry and Steven Callens, who were managing partners of Simont Braun since 2017.
The entire Simont Braun team would like to thank Béatrice and Steven for their impressive work and leadership for the past five years.
“During their mandate, they handled some major projects such as the moving of our offices. They also successfully led Simont Braun through unprecedented difficult times with the pandemic,” comments Axel Maeterlinck. “They have always carried out their roles with care and professionalism. We are all extremely grateful for their involvement, dedication and availability.”
“Axel and I are honoured to take over the day-to-day management of Simont Braun and we will do our utmost to perpetuate its core values,” says Joan Carette. “We are also grateful to count on the support of exceptional lawyers to pursue Simont Braun’s objective to lead by example in innovation, diversity and sustainability.”
Congratulations to Joan and Axel on this new mission!
