has broad experience in corporate law, domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity, organisation of shareholders relations and capital markets.
He regularly advises international and Belgian companies active in a wide variety of sectors, including real estate, insurance, distribution and healthcare.
He also advises family shareholders of listed and unlisted companies on corporate governance matters and is a member of various boards of directors of holding companies and family offices.
Axel also represents clients in judicial and arbitration proceedings, notably in the context of post-M&A or shareholders’ disputes and in insolvency proceedings.
He is a scientific contributor to the Economic law Unit of the ULB Private Law Centre. He has recently spoken at various conferences on the new Companies and Associations Code and contributes to the biannual update on national legislation published in the Journal des Tribunaux.
Axel is notably a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
