Charlotte de Leval specialises in civil procedure, patrimonial law and commercial law.
Her expertise is mainly focused on judicial proceedings and alternative dispute resolution (including mediation and third-party decisions). She also provides advice in her practice areas.
Charlotte de Leval has gained substantial expertise in the non-profit sector, where she advises ASBL, foundations, AISBL, sociétés à finalité sociale (social-purpose enterprises) and corporations.
In cooperation with Simont Braun’s other departments, she assists clients at every stage of their project, whether public or private: selection and incorporation of the appropriate legal structure, legal publication formalities, advice, assistance with operational and financial processes, ongoing business monitoring, resource and personnel management, tax regimes, operating authorisations and licences, reorganisation/liquidation, etc.
Charlotte is the (co)author of many publications in contract law.
